Trials experience days are a great way to learn new bike skills whether you’re a road rider or an old hand at Enduro. Even if you have never ridden a bike before, it is a great introduction as the bikes are lighter and lower to the ground than any other type of bike. Everyone can benefit from our Trials days.
OK so what is the difference between Trials and Enduro? Apart from the very different bikes that we use, trials is generally at a slower pace and concentrates on maneuvering around and over tight spaces and obstacles! Trials is the art of balance! It is great fun to try and even if you just want a one off experience day, you will not be disappointed! Perfect for mixed ability groups such as hen/stag and corporate days/weekends as well, as the bikes are suited to all levels of ability.
Our Trials schools run on 200 acres of valleys, lakes and woodland in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The farm is in Leek, which is a nice central location and surrounded by views of the Staffordshire Peak District. The land itself has some purpose built sections and plenty of natural terrain to have a go at throughout the day. You will be led by our resident instructor, Stuart Day who will make you feel at ease as soon as you arrive. Stuart runs a working farm here too and so if you are lucky you may get to try his now famous, seriously fresh milkshakes at the end of a hard days riding in the valleys!
We run small groups of 5 per event and so there will be plenty of focus on individual riders throughout the day. Come on your own or bring 4 friends along with you on your experience day.
We use the Honda Montesa 4 stroke trials bikes for our schools and they are always less than 6 months old.
Included
- Bike and Fuel
- All protective clothing and equipment

Agenda
We meet at 9.30am where Stuart will get you kitted out and introduce you to your bikes. Stuart will then assess your riding and get you used to the bikes before introducing you to more technical sections throughout the day.
After lunch you will find your confidence has grown. Stuart will then introduce some fun and games in the form of a trials competition. Once you have been taught the rules you will be introduced to several sections which you will attempt to complete without putting your foot down! Great fun!! This is what trials is all about. Everyone will go home with their score card as a momentum of the day.

I did Enduro training with Mick Exstance (7 times Paris Dakar) last weekend.
Totally awesome – on a CRF250. You have to try this sometime, it’s total offroad
Incredibleness. Over logs, up hills with logs halfway up, up incredibly steep hills (on mud and rock)
down the same kind of thing, through the deepest mud. It’s crazy and amazing.
>> I have never off-roaded other than
>> tracks/trails – no obstacles of any
>> size – but it would be pretty cool!
Hehe you have no idea – do the mick extance experience! You’ll be grinning for weeks!
“Yes I did *!#ing do that, it wasn’t a dream!”.
Thanks Stu for a great day. Colin and I hope to see you in France very soon, as you now have our emails just let us know. Mike
A Brilliant Experience!!!
A full day riding top notch trials bikes in beautiful countryside and great company - what more could you ask for?
Our group had a wide range of ability and experience but Stu managed to involve and stretch everyone. As a middle aged and (slightly) overweight novice I was made to feel welcome and was amazed at what I was able to achieve in just one day.
If you are thinking about it - give it a go (but don't be surprised if you can barely move for a day or two afterwards - it is surprisingly physical).
Having mainly only ridden road bikes and done trackdays this was a totally different experience, Stu is an amazing teacher who can put things across so any numpty like me can learn & progress straight away. You learn at your own pace but with Stu's positive comments you'll soon end up going over boulders and things that you wouldn't have thought possible!
The diversity of obstacles & tracks is immense and diverse enough for any capability.
I would recommend this course to all but if you are thinking of taking up trials (like me) then a visit to Stu is a MUST!
