Am I tall enough
The bikes are designed to have a fair amount of ground clearance. However, we have fitted a couple of our bikes with a lowering kit and lowered seats. If you are 5"4 or above you will have no problems. For any customers shorter than that we do have a selection of 100cc and 150cc bikes if you prefer, although confidence is all you really need! Please call if you are unsure.
Am I old enough?
We don't have a minimum age as such. However, if you are under 14 please contact us to ensure these days are suitable for you. We also run youth groups at Silverstone during the summer holidays.
Am I too old?
No such thing as too old! Our oldest customer to date is 78. We hope to beat that one day! If you are fit and well and up for a challenge then please join us. We are happy to tailor our days for anyone. All you need is motivation!
What if I damage the bike?
We want our bikes to be well maintained and well loved. This is why we operate a Bend it Mend it Policy. If you damage a bike whilst on any of our experiences, it would be the same as if you had borrowed a friends bike. You are responsible for the cost of repair. However, we want you to relax and enjoy yourself without this worry and so we offer a Damage Waiver option. This is an additional cost of £25 per rider per experience (even if you are on a 2 day experience the price remains the same). This is effectively and insurance policy against any damage to the bike and must be taken prior to the start of your day.
Do I need a bike licence?
No. All our events take place on private land.
I have never ridden a bike before. Are these days suitable for me?
Yes. If you are up for the challenge then we respect that and will give you all the support and encouragement you need to ensure you get the most out of your day. You will be amazed at what you can achieve with a little guidance!
What is the difference between Motocross and Enduro?
Our Enduro days take place on natural terrain. We have 1500 acres of forestry to play in at our Llangynog site and 5000 at our Welshpool site. We use the Honda Enduro range for these days. Motocross is on a purpose built track and we use the Honda fuel injected MX range for these days.
What bikes do you use and how old are they?
We use the latest Honda off road range for all our events. We have bikes for all sizes starting at the Honda CRF100, ranging through the entire Enduro range (250s and 450s) and the Motocross range (150s, 250s and 450s). Our bikes are replaced every six months so you can be assured that your bike is as safe and reliable as it can be. |
